IOA's Online Learning Center hosts all of IOA's recorded webinars, conference recordings, member meeting recordings, Virtual Foundations Courses, Virtual Core Courses, Virtual Nuts & Bolts of Setting Up an Ombuds Office Courses. Simply use your existing IOA Profile to log in, track your progress, and obtain PDH credits.

  • Live & On-Demand Webinars: Join industry experts via video chat for a one-and-a-half-hour presentation and Q&A session. 

  • Virtual Foundations of Organizational Ombuds Practice Course: The Foundations course is the most in-demand course offered by IOA. In late 2020, we began developing an online version of the course hosted on our online platform, the IOA Learning Center. 

  • Core Courses: A Core Course addresses fundamental knowledge and practice for “new” ombuds (less than three years of full-time practice) or for ombuds who desire to learn or refresh fundamentals. Core Courses form the basis of a curriculum for organizational ombuds. 

  • The Nuts & Bolts of Setting Up an Ombuds Office: This on-demand course introduces new ombuds to the fundamentals of setting up a successful organizational ombuds office.
