Ongoing Networking Opportunities for Organizational Ombuds

IOA's Community Connections program is a series of informal meetings for practicing and aspiring organizational ombuds. These feature topical discussions facilitated by members of the IOA Board of Directors, Executive Director, or invited speakers. 

In order to create a safe space for practicing ombuds to share issues and approaches, the intended audiences are those practicing and trained to practice (aspiring).

First introduced in 2020 — at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic — IOA's Community Connections were created when we had to cancel our Annual Conference. These sessions provided space for ombuds practitioners to exchange ideas and connect with one another virtually. These meetings will be 45 minutes long.
